Mischievous and cunning like all of his race, Aren delights in his abilities to rob his enemies blind before swiftly dispatching them with a well-placed dagger. Solitary by nature, he was known to wander the Misty Thicket for many years assassinating goblins and making a living selling leather goods. His last name and true origins remain something of a mystery. The only clue comes in the form of his 'brother', Halvore Calderleaf, who just happens to be a Fier'Dal ranger. However, neither one will say more than two words on the matter.

In recent years, Aren has been traveling with the ranger Seritaya Leafrunner, testing his combat skills against the gnolls of Splitpaw.
